Muhyo & Roji’s Bureau of Supernatural Investigation

Magical Law Executor Muhyo Toru and his assistant Kusano Jiro are asked to consult about a spirit inhabiting the local train station, who Rie suspects may be her late friend Taeko.

In an attempt to prove that ghosts don't exist, troublemaking Kenji removes the talisman sealing the door of an old temple outside of town.

Muhyo and Roji visit Shiratori Aya, who says a black shadow has been playing her piano at 2:00 AM every morning. Muhyo thinks the shadow is a vengeful spirit born from countless people who envy Aya's talent.

Muhyo and Roji arrive at the Magical Law Association so Roji can take the promotion exam, and Nana tags along. Muhyo's former classmate Yoichi mentions a name that strikes fear in the hearts of those who hear it.

Muhyo takes care of the spirit infecting people through touch, but Roji feels he's to blame for the chaos and takes off alone. Yoichi follows and tells Roji a story from when he attended the Magic Law School with Muhyo.

Muhyo, Roji, and Nana head to a rustic hot spring resort to meet a client, and take a dip while waiting for him. Roji catches a middle-aged man peeping into the women's bath.
