A group of men and women embark on a mission to understand and protect the unrelenting power of volcanoes, which has been unleashed on Earth for millions of years.

Throughout history, human societies across the world have built at the foot of active volcanoes, living under permanent threat. They are forced to work twice as hard to remain on such extreme lands.
