Jesus goes to Pontius Pilate to have his final say and as the public calls for him to be crucified, Peter denies any relationship with him. Pilate grants two requests, accepting Joseph's petition to claim the body and expediting Jesus' death.

With Jesus's tomb empty, Pilate and Caiaphas believe the disciples are to blame.

The Spirit Arrives

During the festival of Pentecost, zealot revolutionaries try to kill Pilate.
