A teenage girl is sent to a psychiatric clinic when her family observes her very odd behaviour following the death of her twin sister. During a clinic group outing in town, the girl runs away and hides in Melinda's store, where her twin sister appears and blames Melinda for revealing the girl's whereabouts to clinic authorities.

Jessica worries she can't compete with a top realtor and puts off taking the exam for her licence. Eddie asks Louis for advice about winning over an older girl.

Eddie tries to make friends with the only other Chinese kid in school; Mitch accepts a job.
