Eul-chook and Eul-soon, born simultaneously, share a destiny; this fate leads Eul-chook to success as actor You Philip, while Eul-soon lives miserably; as adults, they meet by chance.

Philip escapes a stabbing attempt; Eul-soon realizes that Eun-young has deceived her; grief-stricken, she visits her mom's grave to bury her script; Philip arrives in the same area to film a variety show, leading to an unexpected encounter.

Eul-soon encounters a landslide on her way home; she rescues Philip and Yong-man but leaves before the ambulance arrives; she meets with Philip and explains she's the original writer of "A Ghost's Love Story."

Philip, furious, realizes Eul-soon's script for "A Ghost's Love Story" mirrors his experiences; he refuses to work with her and leaves; a body is discovered at the landslide site where Philip was trapped.

Philip and Eul-soon are shocked by news of Ki Eun-young's body found at the site; Eul-soon receives a text summoning her to Corina Residence's fifth floor, suspecting it's from Eun-young; Philip spots Eun-young at Gyeongkwang hotel and pursues her.

Philip is saved again by Eul-soon, but he's upset to see that it's her; Tae-shik and Yong-man visit a shaman and gets told that bad things would keep happening to Philip unless they find and get help from the woman with earthly energy.
