The Club

An Australian football team is forced to address tensions between its players, coach Laurie Holden (Jack Thompson) and management. And, as if the clubhouse environment weren't bad enough already, the team gambles big on highly coveted but moody Tasmanian player Geoff Hayward (John Howard). The team's new star begins to take the game and his teammates for granted, vexing his hot-headed coach. In order to keep from losing the team altogether, Holden must inspire his new player.
