School friends Lee Wan (Lee Jong Hyuk) and Shin Ki Tae (Lee Seung Gyu) are inseparable friends who spend every single moment of free time they have together. But Lee Wan has a secret: He has a crush on his best friend, and wants their relationship to turn romantic. When he tells Shin Ki Tae how he feels, his friend recoils in horror. They quarrel and part in acrimony. Seven years pass and Lee Wan has become an illustrator. When he sees an illustrator job posting for a gaming firm that is trying to create a dating-themed game, he applies and is called in for an interview – eventually landing the job. And it is here that he once again comes face-to-face with Shin Ki Tae, who is a team leader at the same firm. Suddenly, these two former friends must work together, despite the events of seven years ago. But will spending so much time in one another’s company again result in friction – or could it reignite old passions? This movie was also made into a hit drama series of the same name. “Our Dating Sim” is a 2023 South Korean movie that was directed by Lim Hyun Hee.
