Many years ago, Shi Lu (Shang Yu Xian) lost contact with her father (Wang Yan Hui). She tries to start a new life in the United States, but her plans are disrupted when her estranged father calls for a favor: look after a son he had with another woman. Her father explains that the young boy’s health is compromised, and that he must receive treatment in the US. Soon, the boy arrives, and Shi Lu finds herself looking after him. But she finds herself in a quandary when her half-brother goes missing... just when she is offered a dream job! Will she choose to help her father find the boy – or will she focus on her own future?
