Born to Win

New York City hairstylist Jay (George Segal) gets hooked on heroin and subsequently quits his job to pursue his new passion -- scoring one fix after another. The problem is, Jay's addiction isn't possible without a steady income, so he turns to petty crime. While stealing a car, he meets Parm (Karen Black), a non-junkie, and they begin a romance. Giving in to heavy pressure from Parm and the cops, Jay decides to go straight and become a snitch, but his choice plagues him with a maddening guilt.
