Faithful

The movie is based on a true story of the 90s. Every Tolyatti citizen knows this story and everyone experiences it in their own way. This is a story about the love and devotion of a dog, which made the whole city pay attention to. People erected a monument and perpetuated the memory of the Shepherd dog only because of love for its dead masters. This dog lived on the roadside for 8 years, exactly where that terrible accident happened. Many people tried to feed the Faithful, which was the name of the dog, and take him to their home. But every time Faithful returned to his permanent spot, where it died later. A tradition has appeared in Tolyatti, all newlyweds come to this monument before the ceremony and swear loyalty to each other. There is even such a belief: if you rub the nose of the dog-monument and make a wish, then it will come true.
