As Stars Hollow prepares for its annual Spring Fling festival, Rory brings Logan home and shows him around town. Lorelai sees how serious their relationship has become and worries that Logan is too irresponsible for Rory.

Lorelai goes to Luke's diner, but they find that they are uncomfortable together, when law schools and medical schools accept Paris, she decides to reassess her relationship with Doyle, and Rory gets a surprising letter.

Rory returns to Yale after winter break and leaves Lucy a note apologizing for her deception, while Paris ambushes Rory with her master plan of things they need to accomplish in their last semester.
