Maya is celebrating her 14th birthday with Riley and the Matthews family but is struggling with the fact that her mum probably won't be able to join them.

Recognising Maya's talents makes Riley question her own, and she sees she has the best of both parents when she helps Maya with her show and to reconcile with her mother.
