Dr Rhodes begins his cardiothoracic surgery fellowship, but gets off on the wrong foot with his new boss, Dr Latham. Meanwhile, Dr Choi begins his life as chief resident, and Sarah is caught off-guard by Dr Charles.

A member of Firehouse 51 becomes the victim of a vicious attack, and Brett and Jimmy worry about Chilli's behaviour.
