Denise is put under stress but this time not from Jeremy's abusive behaviour. Her husband's chopper has been downed and she waits for news about him. Meanwhile, a soldier takes Roland and Claudia hostage.

Amanda Holden has returned to the post and seems to be renewing and furthering a friendship with Jeremy, Roxy's mother comes for an unannounced visit, and Trevor is injured and his deployment is delayed.

It's Roxy's birthday and her mother wants to plan a party for her, so she asks Pamela for help with the party. Meanwhile, Michael and Claudia Joy talk to Amanda about Jeremy and his behaviour towards his mother.

Michael tries to rebuild his relationship with Emmalin; Pamela and Chase move into a new house; Terrence Price asks Roland to take a full time job as his partner.

Emmalin continues to act out as Claudia Joy searches for a place to live; Trevor makes a bad judgment call; an outside therapist confronts Roland about the kind of care soldiers receive on post; Pamela is determined to find a bigger home.

Michael and Claudia Joy prepare for Michael's promotion ceremony, Pamela reaches a breaking point in her marriage, Roland struggles with Joan being deployed, and Roxy stresses over finances.
