Lily, owning her new single life, goes to wine country by herself; her day of self-care is interrupted by some familiar faces; things get complicated with Beatriz and her new running buddy; Miles and Sol hit their first relationship bump.

It's the Fourth of July, and everyone's relationship has progressed since Valentine's Day; each couple struggles with the different meanings of "independence."
