Savithri hurts Nandhini in front of Rajalakshmi over ‘Nedumangalyam’. Nandhini recollects how Jayaram married Madhuri on their wedding anniversary. Meenakshi flaunts her tattoo to Madhuri.

Mythili’s plan to elope with Vyshakh fails as she spots her husband Karthik at the temple. Rajalakshmi, unaware of Meenakshi’s identity, frees her from the police.

Madhuri falls from the building. Jayaram tells Meenakshi about the argument he had over Nandhini. Madhuri succumbs to her injuries. Meenakshi mistakes Nandhini to be the reason for Madhuri's death.

The police arrest Jayaram. Rajalakshmi sees Madhuri’s lifeless body at the hospital. Nandhini assists Meenakshi in performing Madhuri’s final rites. Meenakshi lights Madhuri’s pyre.

The lawyer questions Meenakshi. The court finds Jayaram guilty. Meenakshi refuses to go with Nandhini. Rajalakshmi, who happens to touch Madhuri’s corpse, takes a shower before entering the house.

Nandhini tells Meenakshi that Jayaram has asked her to take care of Meenakshi. She lies to Rajalakshmi about her whereabouts. Rajalakshmi hits Savithri for badmouthing Nandhini.
