In Kuizhou City, rumours swirl that a half wolf-half human creature is lurking in the nearby area. The son of the city's leader is forced to inspect the mountain after being goaded to do so by his half-sister.

Wolf Boy is seen escaping from the general's room after saving the wolf cub. However, when the general is found dead, orders to hunt Wolf Boy down are issued.

Ma Ying saves the princess because he is indebted to her family. Meanwhile, Ma Jun captures Wolf Boy after stealing Zhai Xing's bell to lure him out.
