The Remix

Performances by judges Sunidhi Chauhan, Amit Trivedi and Nucleya kick off the series; the 10 teams put their best foot forward with head-banging numbers and outstanding performances in a non-elimination episode.

Facing the first elimination, the 10 teams must be at their best as they remix title tracks of favourite Bollywood movies with their own versions of tracks that include "Desi Boyz", "Aashiqui" and "Rock On".

To spice things up, live instrumentation has been added for this episode and each team must incorporate an interesting instrument into their track. Instruments include a sarangi, harmonium and bagpipes.

Love is the theme for this competition. A line-up of eight heart-warming tracks that include Raabta, Gazab ka hai din and Sunn raha hai na tu.

Experimentation with sound takes a leap by incorporating ambient sounds into popular Bollywood songs. The contestants use regular, routine sounds from the kitchen, marketplace, garage and other locales.

Six guest singers -- Rajakumari, Nikhita Gandhi, Nakash Aziz, Shadab Faridi, Mame Khan and Ikka -- join the party. The competition hits a pause, making way for collaborations, performances and remixed tracks that are hard to forget.
