Patrick Jane, adviser to the California Bureau of Investigation, is notorious for his unusual methods - not to mention his former career as a `psychic' - but the guy has a remarkable track record for solving serious crimes through uncanny powers of observation. That doesn't mean that Senior Agent Teresa Lisbon and her staff must be thrilled to have such an eccentric as a key member of the team.
