Raja refuses when Meghala tells him to live separately. Seetha scolds Malar when she spots her talking to Pandi. Seetha assumes that Markandeyan has forgotten her birthday, but later gets a surprise.

Chandra faints while sharing his sorrows with Markandeyan. Revathi lies to Seetha and takes the ornaments from her. Markandeyan recalls the incident as he dines with his family.

Markandeyan tells Vinod to take care of Chandra. Seetha pacifies Mekhala as she argues with Uma for critcising her cooking skills. Malar asks Pandi to switch his job.

Raghu deals with Seetha when she asks him to go and work. Uma’s father further taunts Raghu. Meghala instigates Raja against Seetha as he buys a new ‘thaali’ chain for Revathi.

Uma’s father meets Markandeyan with an alliance for Malar. Furthermore, Malar decides to go out with Pandi but returns when Seetha calls her. Malar argues with Seetha when groom arrives to meet her.

Arjun and his family meet Malar. Uma and Meghala argue with Malar when she refuses to marry Arjun. Pandi is shocked when Malar compels him to marry her. Seetha comforts a worried Markandeyan.
