The criminal investigation gains pace as Ayaz, the cultural secretary of a college youth wing, pressures the police to view a body found at a local eatery, Bagicha Dabha, run by his colleague Sahil Sharma. Ayaz emotionally identifies the corpse as Palak. The episode intersperses the grim investigation with a tender flashback of Palak and Ayaz celebrating a birthday surprise.
