Gunawan has to make the difficult choice between taking care of his mother or starting a new life. Gunawan's brother Dedi doesn't help him at all. In his days off from the camp, Satya realises that his three sons are not close to him.

Gunawan does everything to take care of his mother. Satya's colleague Herman brags to him about his son winning the Science Olympics. Satya is provoked and pushes Ryan, his eldest son, to participate in the Olympics.

After the disappearance of his mother, Gunawan starts his life from scratch. He starts working in a factory and tutoring, with one goal: to marry Itje. Satya prepares Ryan for the Olympics.

Gunawan and Itje live a modest and happy life together. At work, Gunawan's career is on the rise. Itje opens a catering business that is going strong.

Gunawan and Itje struggle with chemotherapy, hoping things will get better. On the other hand, the catering business declines sharply due to the recession. Without informing Satya and Rissa, Ryan skips the Maths Olympics.

Gunawan's condition has not improved. The two try to let go of each other with sincerity. Gunawan has the idea of making videos to accompany Satya and Cakra's growth.
