Preposterous Pets

Not all pet owners have dogs or cats living in their homes. Some have developed special relationships with exotic pets, which are explored in `Preposterous Pets'. Giant crocodiles, domesticated buffalo and deadly scorpions are some of the unexpected animals that people raise as pets in countries across the globe, including Costa Rica, South Africa and India. The programme introduces viewers to the animals' owners to find out what led them to develop a strong bond with some of the world's scariest and wildest animals.
