Meri Hanikarak Biwi

Meri Haanikarak Biwi' is an interesting tale of Akhilesh, a simpleton but an ardent devotee of Lord Hanuman. While Akhilesh's mother is adamant on getting Akhilesh married soon, she feels disturbed as all of the marriage proposals for Akhilesh go rejected. Akhilesh, on the other hand, is dedicated to his life as a traditional wrestler and is happy to listen to his mentor, who has guaranteed succees to Abhishek if he stays away from women.

Akhilesh pleads with Ira to slap him and says that he cannot look at any woman's face and can only look at her feet. Ira takes it in a wrong way and slaps Akhilesh, who feels happy that he has fulfilled the promise he made to his mother. Later, Ira asks Siddhu to take polio seriously and go to every house to administrate the medicine to the kids in Varanasi.

As Pushpa is not allowed to do the 'Var Savitri' prayer, Akhilesh drags the tree in front of his house. Meanwhile, Pushpa is missing her husband and Akhilesh decides to take her to Mumbai where his father is. On the other hand, Akhilesh's father, Birju is married to another woman named Devina in Mumbai and has three kids with her.

Akhilesh calls his father and asks him to pick them up from the Mumbai Central station. Meanwhile, Ira receives a very joyous welcome back from her father at the railway station. On the other hand, Birju takes Pushpa and Akhilesh to a flat he has kept prepared just in case they turned up in Mumbai. Birju tries telling them sad stories in order to send them back to Banaras but in vain.

Akhilesh spots his father and tries to point him out to his mother. However, just then the media surrounds Birju and Devina and Pushpa is unable to see Birju. On the other hand, Ira tells his father that she has to go to the Devina Mansion. When Ira reaches Devina mansion, Akhilesh manages to sneak inside the party by hiding behind the big cheque she is carrying for Devina.

Akhilesh is in tears as he sees his father, Brijesh Pandey, celebrating his wedding anniversary in a grand fashion with Devina. Meanwhile, Pushpa sits outside the venue praying for her husband's well-being and remains completely unaware of her husband's act of deception. Akhilesh, who is a waiter at the function, approaches his father and Brijesh is instantly in shock.
