The Forbidden Wish Naaz is preparing for her upcoming marriage, looking at clothes and rings with her mother. The Letter and the Return Naaz's husband, Aftab, informs her he must travel to Lahore for important work and cannot take her along, dropping her instead at her parents' house for a few days Before leaving, he gives her a letter to read when she gets home, telling her he will miss her. Naaz arrives at her parents' house, where her mother asks about Aftab and Yasmin.

Naaz and her husband's lawyer argue fiercely in court. Naaz speaks out, accusing her husband of defaming and humiliating her, while her lawyer argues that the system is wrong for making her stand in court after raising her voice against wrongdoings. The judge decides that according to the law, the couple must live under the same roof for three months.
