It's been six months since Son Goku and Vegeta defeated the dangerous Majin Buu in a terrible clash. Thanks to Dragon Balls, the people on the Earth do not remember what happened. Peace has returned to Earth.

Vegeta had promised Trunks to take him to the theme park. In the end, the whole family happily goes on a day trip. But Vegeta isn't so thrilled, he would have preferred to train to keep up with Goku, but he can't break his promise. Meanwhile, Beerus destroys another planet.

Fearing what might happen knowing that the God of Destruction is awake, the Old Supreme Kai and Supreme Kai urge King Kai to ensure that Goku never finds out about Beerus.

Everyone celebrates Bulma's birthday; Trunks and Goten try to find the bingo prizes; the Dragon Balls await the winner; Emperor Pilaf and his gang detect the Dragon Balls on the cruise ship.

Beerus tracks Goku's energy to King Kai's planet and comes face to face with the Saiyan. Beerus accepts Goku's challenge to fight, but Goku's most powerful attacks prove insignificant against the mighty god.

An uninvited guest crashes Bulma's party; Vegeta becomes plagued by memories of Beerus' visit to his home planet.
