Doctor X Surgeon Michiko Daimon

Hikaru Morimoto, a doctor at the Teito University Hospital, comes to the rescue of a man who suddenly falls ill. A woman approaches and examines the man's body. When paramedics arrive, she tells them he needs an emergency operation.

Noboru Nikaido, president of a famous publishing company, is hospitalised with pancreatic cancer. The new chairman and other the other doctors give him special treatment, but Michiko is dissatisfied with his arrogant attitude.

Celebrity chef and food blogger Mitsue Hanayama becomes a patient at Teito University Hospital. She cooks for the doctors, and they praise her cooking. However, when Michiko Daimon does not praise her, conflict ensues.

Hideki Kaji, a surgeon introduced as the `Laparoscopy Whiz', appears on a television show about super doctors. His high school friend and foreign fund manager sees the show and wants Kaji to handle his duodenal cancer.

Hospital Director Busujima seeks info about Doctor-X from Kanbara. Michiko Daimon meets a girl in the hospital suffering from pain in her leg. Michiko cannot ignore her and takes her to Takuya Kishida, a paediatric surgeon.

Motohiko Musaka visits Michiko Daimon. He knew her before she became a doctor, he has been diagnosed with bile duct cancer, and Michiko wants to help him.
