Four new whiz-kids battle it out in the second preliminary competition. The teens are shocked by expensive crustaceans, get flustered by sharp knives and must make a sweet dish with a frozen treat and an Indian spice.

Four new teens compete in the third preliminary round of the tournament. The young chefs must grapple with vegan chicken, work out their mixed feelings about okra and repurpose a box of assorted biscuits.

The appetiser round features a spicy protein and a strong pepper in the basket; the entrée basket contains thick veal chops and beautiful heirloom tomatoes; a classic candy bar and a sweet fruit juice in the dessert round.

Fans pick the basket ingredients in this special viewers' choice competition. The chefs warily taste a curious canned product, make an entrée with weird candy and a slimy surprise and must use an unusual condiment for dessert.

Four returning teen winners compete for $25,000 and the title of Grand Champion! They work with pasta, jarred seafood, candy, and a vegetable.
