A calligrapher arrives at an island he was sent to after causing problems at home.

Seishu gets to know Naru's friends, Miwa and Tamako; Handa is bothered while trying to work on his calligraphy.

Seishu finds out that Tamako's manga draught is quite violent; Handa discovers that he has come second place in the calligraphy competition.

After his computer and cell phone break, Handa's only link to the outside world is the phone at the general store.

Handa takes the kids swimming before the next exhibition and he discovers there's more to life than just calligraphy.

Handa is confused when prodigal calligrapher Kanzaki arrives, and Miwa and Hiroshi try to get him to leave.
