Africa's Hunters

Kamuti is a wise old leopard who has reigned over two square miles of prime territory in the Luangwa Valley for ten years, but now she is in trouble. At 13 years old, Kamuti is one of the oldest leopards in the African bush, and she is not as effective a hunter as she used to be. Kamuti's problems are compounded by her neighbours, the Nsefu pride of lions, who steal her kills and attack her on sight.

A younger and stronger leopard challenges Kamuti for her territory in the Luangwa Valley, where she has reigned for ten years.

Three of the pride's lionesses go into labour, but new cubs bring with them big danger, as three strong males are plotting to destroy their world from across Zambia's Luangwe River.
