Leaping seven years forward, Nancy is widowed for the fourth time; her chain of coffee shops becomes overwhelmingly successful; Silas and Megan are married and have a baby daughter. Andy lives in Ren-Mar and has a child.

After retrieving the pot floating in her swimming pool, Nancy frantically tries to return it to working condition. Failing, she goes to Heylia's to inform her of the situation. Meanwhile, Andy's amber alert has paid off - the police have located Shane and are holding him at the station with Silas, but Andy soon discovers the unintended consequences of his alert.
