When Axl accidentally text-invites the wrong girl to prom, Frankie and Mike force him to do the right thing. Meanwhile, Brick proves to be quite the playwright.

With Brick at his first sleepover, Axl on a date and Sue at her first boy-girl party, Frankie and Mike mistakenly believe that they will have the house all to themselves for a quiet and romantic Valentine's Day.

Sue feels a sense of freedom without Axl at school. Brick struggles with a fear as he starts middle school and Frankie is jealous when she learns that Axl replies to Mike's texts but not hers.

Brick's pet rabbit teaches the Heck family a valuable lesson, Axl must juggle dating two cheerleaders, and Sue tries out to be the school mascot.

As graduation day approaches, tension begins to build between Frankie and Axl when he ignores her requests for answers about the graduation party she's planning for his special day.

Frankie is depressed when her favourite TV show doesn't end the way she wants it to. Meanwhile, Sue takes up tennis while Axl and Cassidy assess their relationship.
