While Murray (Jeff Garlin) is being honored by his high school for his basketball prowess, Barry (Troy Gentile) takes advantage of his parents’ absence to throw a blowout party at home.

In order to get her own car, Sue gets a job at a mall eatery. Mike and Frankie learn that Brick hasn't been attending any classes and Axl spends nights at home to avoid his horrible roommate.

Sue goes from no dates to the prom to too many dates in a matter of hours. Frankie and Mike feel like they aren't giving their all to each other after meeting their new neighbours.

Frankie clashes with a coworker at her Thanksgiving job, Sue offers to work to see a guy she likes, Axl has an embarrassing moment at the bar, and Mike and Brick are bored at home after a blackout.

Frankie and Mike's date night is ruined when both fall asleep, Axl and Brick try to invent the next big thing, and Sue is invited to the prom by a store greeter.

Having decided April isn't good enough for Axl, Frankie works to keep her out of the family Christmas photo, and Sue gets upset when she learns Brick will be working at Spudsy's.
