Emma's been reading up on the rules of polyamory and apparently EJI is doing it all wrong. Gabe blows Emma and Izzy's mind by revealing a family secret they absolutely cannot repeat to Jack.

Nina faces her fears and opens up to Shaun. As Izzy prepares to move on with her life, Jack and Emma put a plan into action.

Emma seeks comfort from Carmen, and Izzy tries to focus on completing her doctorate by volunteering at a homeless shelter. Later,Jack decides that it's time to make a commitment to Izzy.

Four months after moving to Seattle, Emma is climbing her way to the top of the Pinnacle ladder. Jack and Izzy settle into their new loft; Carmen and Hannah start a lifestyle magazine.
