Lorelai invites Rory over to dinner to tell her that she and Christopher got married in Paris. Rory pretends to be thrilled while Christopher is in the room, but later tells Lorelai how hurt and angry she really is.

As his efforts to wrest control of crime in Harlan from the Crowder clan shift into high gear, mob boss Robert Quarles (guest star Neal McDonough) looks to bribe his way into power as he reaches back into Raylan’s (Timothy Olyphant) past for someone to stop his investigation.

At long last Monk finally receives his badge, but his first case back on the force proves to be a difficult one as he attempts to tie a serial killer with police corruption.
