The Son

Peter (Hugh Jackman) has a hectic life: a busy career, a demanding father (Anthony Hopkins), a new partner Beth (Vanessa Kirby) and a baby. But all of that is upended when his ex-wife Kate (Laura Dern) appears at his door to discuss their teenage son Nicholas (Zen McGrath). Nicholas has been missing school for months and isn't being himself. Peter moves Nicholas into his home and tries to help his son as best he can while juggling all the other demands on his attention. Soon things reach a breaking point and Peter has to make a choice. Can he reach Nicholas before it's too late?
