A pampered movie star is desperate to land the lead role in a new police thriller. Unfortunately for him, Mel Gibson is also up for the part. So the actor, ever professional, jumps in at the deep end by teaming up with a tough lawman in an effort to discover what makes him tick, but he gets more than he bargained for when the cop takes him on the trail of a deadly sniper.
