Magnificent Obsession

Dr Bob Merrick is responsible for the death of a loved and dedicated doctor. The doctor's wife spurns his remorse but then she is blinded in an accident. Merrick, deciding to do the decent thing, trains as a physician and eventually performs the sight-restoring surgery on her. She falls in love with him while blind, never realising his true identity but, on seeing him, will she realise how he has changed?
