Little Man Tate

When working mother Dede discovers her son Fred is a child prodigy, she wants to do everything in her power to see he gets every chance he can, but she is concerned that Jane Grierson, a psychologist whose speciality is gifted children, may be taking advantage of her son. In the end, both women want what's best for Fred, they just have different ideas of what that is.
