Dead Man Walking

Sister Prejean is moved to help murderer Matthew Poncelet after receiving a letter written from Death Row. Despite angry protests, she tries to stop his execution and in the process makes a connection with the convicted killer. She is faced with the confusion of caring for the condemned man, and empathising with the family of his victims.
