The sister-in-law of a successful businessman making his way up the corporate ladder in 1970s Calcutta begins to fall in love with him. The attraction between the characters is ideological. She is somebody who remembers her brother-in-law from the past and what he once stood for. Although he's absolutely sure his job, house and status are important, somewhere there is that longing for the person he once was.
