A hotshot firefighting pilot scoops and dumps water on remote forest fires until one day he goes too far and is killed in a crash, only to find himself sent back as the ethereal teaching voice for his tenderfoot pal. Keeping an eye on him is one thing, letting him get close to an ex-girlfriend is quite another.
