S1, E1: Shiro Kakei (Hidetoshi Nishijima) works as a lawyer for a small law firm in the city. After leaving the office on time each day, he routinely goes to the local bargain supermarket before making dinner. Shiro is frugal and meticulously analyses the prices. He skillfully prepares a well-balanced meal and arranges it on the dining table... where he dines with a hairdresser named Kenji Yabuki (Seiyo Uchino). They are loving partners who refer to each other as "Shiro-san" and "Kenji". However, a turbulent event disrupts their peaceful dining table!
