Jimmy teaches Hope to crawl and so the family must baby-proof the house. Meanwhile, Virginia is outed as a junk-saving hoarder and Jimmy makes frequent unnecessary trips to the grocery store to see Sabrina.

Jimmy tries to win a candy-selling contest, so Hope can ride on a float in the Thanksgiving Day parade.

The family participates in a 1K walk and Virginia and Burt feel the effects of ageing. Jimmy has a difficult time supporting Sabrina when she gets into a fight with her ex-boyfriend.

When Hope is recruited as an actress on Yo Zappa Do, Jimmy signs on as an extra to help her through her scenes. But the show's star, Trevor, is making his life miserable on set.

When Hope catches a cold, Virginia goes into panic mode because the family doesn't have health insurance. She resolves to lock Maw Maw in her bedroom to avoid getting sick.
