When Summer and Marissa receive invitations for famous actor Grady Bridges' birthday party in LA, the girls decide to take Ryan and Seth along with them to join in the fun.

Monk travels to New York to investigate the connection between his wife's murder and Warrick Tennyson, whose name was given to Monk by Dale the Whale. While checking into their hotel, mayhem breaks out and three people are killed. Monk agrees to help with the triple-murder investigation.

Bullock and Gordon try to track down someone who is key to Sofia's control over Gotham. Penguin, Lee and Nygma enlist an unlikely ally as they seek revenge, while Selina asks Bruce for a favour to help alleviate her guilt over Ivy.

Gordon tries to broker a deal with Penguin that involves Sofia. Alfred attempts to pull Bruce out of his teenage angst and downward spiral.

Ivy picks her next target, leading Gordon and Lucius back to an old friend, as Selina tries to take matters into her own hands. Sofia wants full control of Gotham and turns to Lee and Bruce tries to make amends with Alfred, while Nygma visits Arkham.
