Neely's ex-husband, Peter, claims he hasn't heard from Neely in a long time, nor does he know anything about their baby. Mitch is devastated, Cody and April are on the same plane on their way to New York.

Mitch catches Neely massaging Hobie and immediately draws conclusions. He won't be appeased by Neely, which makes her angry. Meanwhile, Manny is injured on a mission and the doctors' diagnosis is shocking.

Mitch, Craig, Neely, J. D. and Newman try to rescue as many people as possible from the water. Meanwhile, April takes care of the three other survivors while Cody sets out to find the boy who may have drowned.

Alex rescues a man from the water. She discovers that he has a gunshot wound and is being pursued by two drug dealers. Alex hides with him in a cave, and a race against time begins. Mitch has problems with his son.
