Magnus and her old friend Jimmy find themselves in a shootout with a mob accustomed to cashing in on the Abnormal black market. Will, Kate and Henry are quick on the scene with backup, but Kate is wounded as she helps get the prized Abnormal to safety. Jimmy tends to her wounds as the pair take refuge in a derelict motel room, and while they wait for Magnus to find them, Jimmy and Kate discover an unexpected common history.
