The amateur cooks have one hour to recreate their signature dishes for the judges' first auditions, as the judges and nine past winners offer their support.

Contestants purchase their own mystery box ingredients with only 20 dollars and 20 minutes. The contestant with the best fish proceeds to the immunity challenge, followed by the winners of the invention test.
