The amateur cooks have one hour to recreate their signature dishes for the judges' first auditions, as the judges and nine past winners offer their support.

The grand finale includes an intricate dessert composed of 19 elements, such as yoghurt snow, steamed vanilla sponge and coconut ice-cream, before the winner is announced.

Three contestants have to recreate a dish of tandoori chicken in a butter sauce with coriander mint chutney, pickled onions and roomali bread, made by guest chef Saransh Goila.

The bottom three contestants from the invention test face elimination and must fight for their place in the competition during a pressure test.

It is the start of royal week and the contestants have one hour to use all the ingredients from the mystery box, including kalette, lemon, coriander seeds, gin and mint, to make a dish.

The contestants are in for a huge surprise when the judges reveal that it is survival week and the remaining competitors must cook to stay each day.
