The film takes the viewer on the delicate and touching memory grounds through the reading of diaries, letters, medical records of the private hospitals where Liseli Marazzi Hoepli spent long periods of time, before she took her own life when her daughter was only 7 years old. Through these texts and the footage filmed by her grandfather since 1926, Alina unveils her mother, recreates her face and celebrates her by remembering her. A film about nostalgia as a common, tender, essential, and necessary sentiment to overcome a loss.
